Jim Alcott, founder and CEO of Alcott Marketing Science, has been named as a guest speaker for the Nashville Analytics Summit hosted by the Nashvile Technology Council.
The annual summit, sponsored by Tableau and drawing 500 attendees from the region's largest corporations, will be held at the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville Aug. 11-12.
The Summit will focus on a fundamental issue in organizations today: how to effectively leverage analytics to grow business and solve problems.
The format for the event includes a two days of alternating workshops and speaker presentations. The sessions will cover topics including: Data Science, Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Reporting & Data Visualization, Data Governance, Security & Ethics, and Professional Development.
Alcott will be leading a session entitled "The Practical Application of Analytics on Marketing, Advertising, and Strategic Business Decisions" at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12.
